Preseason Game 3: San Diego Gulls v Ontario Reign

Welcome to the third and second to last of the Gulls preseason contests.

A lot has changed since last week, here is a quick breakdown:

• Jack Kopacka was traded to San Jose for veteran defenseman Trevor Carrick (yes that Carrick). Kopacka was then immediately flipped to Ottawa. I am still sad about it but I guess it helps with the defensive depth.
• Jack Badini was called up from the Tulsa Oilers, but has to quarantine for seven days before being able to hit the ice.
• Corey Tropp signed in Germany.
• Madison Bowey has signed a PTO with Rockford.
• San Diego just announced the signing of veteran forward Matt Lorito – a former Calder Cup champion and team-leading scorer for the Grand Rapids Griffins.
